I just finished watching the show "Everybody Loves Raymond". Now I usually dont watch this show but, pleh, i was bored. So basically Robert got a premotion on the same day Raymondrecieved the bad news that his book idea was declined. This accomplishment caused Ray to become jealous and sarcastic towards his brother, whereas he should have been happy for Robert instead of acting cold and bitter. After seeing this I was hit with the realization that everyone compares and contrasts everything; thereself, eachother.....everything. I mean, I know I do. The thing is, when I compare people or items, I dont exactly realize i'm doing it, it's an every day thing, no biggy...something my subconcious has control over. I understand that I really need to start becoming aware of this bad habit because, to put it simply, people aren't meant to be compared, comparing is just a flatter, less complicated version of judging. Something i honestly want no part of. People are all made differently for a reason, and the person they are today is formed from their past accomplishments....or failures...no one really has any idea the hardships someone might have gone through in order to transform into the modified, individual person they call "self"....Even if you think you know everything there is to know about someone, there are still things no one will ever know....perhaps because they dont even know it themselves. ??WRAP YOUR MINDS AROUND THAT, EHHH??
Sorry to go all Preacher/Karate Kid/Jedi Master on you guys. :P

Poseur....well then.
Hello! For todays outside reading blog i decided to read a couple chapters in this pretty looking book called Poseur. Yep, i'll never get those 20 minutes back. As you can [hopefully] guess, i did not like this book, infact this book made me want to punch myself in the face repetively. Honestly, this book is a core contributor for suicides.
So, Poseur is about a group of four bratty over priveleged teenage girls who all have a passion for fashion in their own uniquely individual ways. A stylish socialite, an intreverted punk, a cocky baby phat wannabe, and a total hippie all [unwillingly] team up to create a label like no other. The dialogue is so valleygirl and the outfits the author describes dont even sound cute! This, my friend, leads to quite dissapointing imagery. Also, did I mention the private school all these girls go to is called Winston prep? Winston prep!! Hahaha. HA. Dont get me wrong, i'm not trying to be mean, I just think the author tries to relate to "moder day teenagers" waaaaay too hard. Well, if you enjoy simple, boring books, and happen to be a psycho fashionista i'm 100% positive you will enjoy this book immensly.
P.S. The strange thing is; the more i read, the more I couldn't stop reading!! Even though the book sucked beyond words. And thats where they getchya'.

Tribute to Animal Heroes.

Nowadays people considered "heroes" always seem to have a motive behind their incentive, whether its personal debt or feeling pressured and forced by your so called "moral righteosneous" it seems like no one does anything just out of friendly human nature anymore. The only place it seems kindness isn't traded for credit or repayment is when you're dealing with animals. Animals have contributed so much to society and ask nothing in return. They obey ridiculous commandments and are happy with nothing more than a pat on the head for gratitude, they take what they can get. I believe animal heroes are some of the best kind of heroes because everything they do is out of pure instinct and unswaggering loyalty, animals never doubt their commitment and just do what comes naturally to them. This is the way Humans should live, maybe then we would be a more endearing and friendly society.

Animals have always had a large role in criminal justice. They have given their time and energy in hopes of pleasing their human companions and have worked hard to save people in a society they can hardly relate too. Dogs, specifically have done a wonderful job in discovering and busting drug pushers and locking crimianls behind bars.

Here is another example of an animal in the field of human servitude who has dedicated his/her life to tending to the needs of another....species, might i add. Guide dogs have been trained to love and care for their owner, service dogs live their life without judgement or biased opinions and gratefully assist their partners as best as they can. If it wasnt for them many people would suffer through their disablility much more than they do already.

This represents one of the many articles that have been written dedicated to animal heroes and the amazing rescue stories and kindness contributed by them. Animals recieve prestigous awards every year for their outstanding courage and dedication.

Okay. So I seriously hope you've watched the movie Lassie. If you havent, go watch it. LIKE NOW. This basically shows how a human can feel a bond with a dog and how a dog can feel such a deep connectionwith his companion as to try to rescue him from a well. A WELL! This theme of "animal saving human" is Thouroughly shown through a variety of books and movies. You wanna know why?? BECAUSE IT HAPPENS. OFTEN.

Animals stick with us through thick and thin. They offer warmth in the coldest of times. They grow with us and are a sentimental shoulder to cry on. But most importantly Animals are a friend, a savior, a privelage, and a hero. They should be an inspiration and a motivation to us all. We, as the human race, should learn to be half as heroic as them.

The Unspeakable Odyssey of The Motionless Boy
Wow. I feel so lucky to be healthy. This article is about a boy who is almost completely paralyzed, all but the upward and downward movements of his eyes. He can't even blink. Luckily his physically health was spared, although little good it does him seeing how he's hardly able to communicate. I can't begin to imagine what it would be like to have "locked in syndrome", I honestly can't say with confidence whether i'd want to go on living or not. I extremely admire Kennedy for trying to help Erik, the paralyzed boy, and all victims of this terrible syndrome, through research and advancement concerning technology. I desperatly hope and believe that someday technology will succeed in allowing patients of LIS the ability to communicate with people through talking computers and brain waves.
T_T<-I'm sad.
Jeez, people in situations like this must have so much to say (Not to mention so much bottled energy, think of sitting there all day constantly watching people actively do things you may never have the oppurtunity to participate in again). I, as an able mind and body take walking, writing, speaking, socializing, and participating in physical activity for so much granite. I feel like I've wasted so much time! If I was to die or become paralyzed tomorrow I wouldn't feel fulfilled at all. This inspirational story has encouraged me to look at everyday as a gift meant to be honored and thoroughly appreciated. I'll start tonight. :]

Reaching Nirvana
As Siddhartha's journey comes to an end, I must say I truly believe he has reached Nirvana. Though the pathway which led him to this state was difficult and filled with definite highs and distinct lows, Siddhartha conquered his temptations and reached a permanent state of contentment. Throughout his life Siddhartha has tested and overcome many different lifestyles and has met many different people, all which have bestowed teachings of immense value and importance. With these different lifestyles and human beings, Siddhartha was able to experience a varity of emotions including greed, lust, envy, anger, joy, and possibly even a hint of love, an emotion he thought he would never be gifted with. He even had a child with a courtesan!
Though all these mini stories had a huge influence in forming Siddhartha as a whole, it wasnt until he settled into the simple life of a ferrymen, that siddhartha was able to truly see the two seperate worlds which consume modern daily life, he realized that if we could cross this line and create, or find, unity, we could finally reach an ultimate state of peace. Siddhartha would not have been able to do this if he didn't venture off on his own in hopes of finding his own way. He rightfully believed that Knowledge is teachable though Wisdom is not. One becomes wise over time and life experiences. Through experiencing life as a semi-normal individual Siddhartha was able to combine normalcy (including human feelings and sins) and an uncharted height of knowledge (only obtained by Siddhartha) to find his self, which helped him see the world in a new and brighter light.
This is why I, Chichipilliwii...ii...(what's my name again?) whole heartedly believe my good friend Siddhartha has reached Nirvana. I only wish that I too may someday be so lucky. Though i am an old woman now, who will doubtfully live a year longer. It has pleased me to watch Siddhartha grow and learn. I will follow him until the day i too become one with the universe. Siddhartha has always been percieved as wise, deep and extremly complicated, But as i have grown with him and learned his ways, i feel as though Siddhartha may be rather simple, so simple, infact, that we are physically unable to comprehend the way his mind works. By finding simplicity and unity in all things, including his self, Siddhartha was able to reach his ultimate life goal; enlightenment.
Congrats Sidd! :]

Last Christmas....The end.
Okay. Soooooo, I just finished Last Christmas and was thoroughly pleased with the ending. It was really suspenseful, mysterious and.....just.....great! Thomas ends up dumping Ariana for the first hot sophmore he sees (figures) and Ariana ends up going psycho with passion and obsession. Not exactly a happy ending. Anyway, the reason i liked the ending was because it was hinting at a possible future murder Ariana was maybe/kinda/gonna attempt, and guess who its on, Thomas's new GF. (how predictable is that?) Drama, drama, DRRAAAMMMMAA. So we can conclude that thomas is a total player/jerk, i'm actually surprised Ariana didn't kill him. Now THAT would of been a twisted ending. :] But, like i said, i'm happy with how Last
Christmas closed and cant wait to read more with the next book.
P.S. If you ask me, this series has waaaayyy too much unnecessary drama, by this point wouldn't you have just left the school... jeez, these kids aren't very bright.

Last christmas....kshakehwuondo!
OMIGOSH. I'm almost done with Last Christmas! It's intense. Ariana just killed the wrong person because she thought he took scandalous pictures of her forbidden romance with thomas. She thought the photagrapher was gonna use the pictures to blackmail them. I for one, am appalled. Now not only does Ariana feel terribly guilty (which she should!) but she feels paranoid as well. I cant wait to read what unfoils next! Will her BF, Daniel,( who lied abouty being a virgin, to get into Ariana's pants BTW.) notice shes been creeping behind his back? Does it matter? Will they be able to work it out? Who was the photographer? Who will Ariana kill next??
Personally, I think Ariana is getting too attached to Thomas, she needs to stop being so clingy and obbsessive, or else Thomas is definetly gonna dump her. Like seriously.
OK. The end.

Last christmas
I just finished reading the first two chapters in Last Christmas , part of the Rrivate series by Kate Brian. These chapters were very shocking because I got to see the world through Ariana's eyes. She seems to have the perfect boyfriend, perfect friends, all and all, perfect life. The only exception to all of this is Thomas, the bad boy. She knows he's no good for her, so why does she yearn for him so? I, as the reader, never thought Ariana would ever take any action on this forbidden romance, but, like usual, I was wrong. I cant wait to read the next chapters and discover if anything else stems from this curious love affair. Or, even better, if someone finds out about Thomas and Ariana. Then, it seems, Ariana's envious life may not be so perfect anymore.

Dear whoever,
I have some advice to ask of you. My friend, Siddhartha, is troubling me with the way he is acting. He has become greedy and envious of others, two things i was sure he would never become. He lusts after money, women and food and has become obsessed with the high from gambling. "He loved that anxiety, that terrible and oppressive anxiety which he experienced during the game of dice, during the suspense of high stakes." Siddhartha has even lost his 3 ways which once consumed his life: thinking, fasting, and waiting. I am afraid he has become callused, unhappy and cold, dare i say...ordinary. I'm afraid Siddhartha has lost his path. "His face assumed the expressions which are so often found among rich people- the expressions of discontent, sickliness, of displeasure, of idleness, of lovelessness."
-Chichi
Dear Chichi,
It seems as though what you say is true, Siddhartha has lost his way. Maybe try talkng some sense into him, or guiding him back onto his rightful path. OR if this doesnt work, we must trust in siddhartha to make the right decision, but in his own time. From what you say, Siddhartha is very knowledgeable and seems to know the virtues and values of life. Think of this wasted ten years as a detour in Siddhartha's life. A detour which will contribute to the growth of his knowledge and outlook on life, this will also assure him in the way which he believes in. I think this mistake may have been all part of an unseen path for Siddhartha.

The Private Series...Siddhartha style.
Chichi: Siddhartha, I just finished reading the book Revelation and was shocked to find out that Ariana's psycho sister, Sabine, was plotting against reed, her supposed best friend, from the moment she met her, planning to kill her in fact! All because of a "theory" that Reed drove her sister to insanity and is the sole reason Ariana was placed into mental therapy. What is your opinion on why people betray and hate one another?
Siddhartha: Well Chichipilliwilldi, this girl, Sabine, is obviously suffering from severe mental instability if she is at the point of killing. In my opinion, Sabine would benefit greatly from strong meditation, if she would just take the time to self reflect and try to learn some of the many things the world has to teach her she would undoubtedly be much less hostile toward people. Betrayal is such an ugly word, as is hate. Ironically enough, though, hate is interlinked with betrayal and vice versa. People hate and betray because they do not know what else to do to release their anger. This brings me back to meditation; if people could learn to quiet themselves and become one with Earth and the self their anger would melt away and would be replaced by tranquility.
Chichi: Ahh yes, you are completely right Siddhartha. I only hope that one day I may be half as insightfull as you.

Govinda: Chichi, Siddhartha has just bestowed upon me the terrible news that he is leaving. The illustrious ones techings do not please him. What should i do? How will i survive without him?
Chichi: In the words of siddhartha "You are a grown man and have chosen your own path." You must learn to accept the fate that you and siddhartha have different goals which you both must reach by the parting ways.
Govinda: But i feel so abandoned.
Chichi: Govinda, Siddhartha is different from you. You have always been a follower. "You have always gone a step behind Siddhartha." now it is time for you to break free, find your own path, but most importantly, become a leader. Siddhartha will revolutionize the world and you as well will have an impact. It is for the best Govinda, you will see.
Govinda: Well, i guess i must try to understand the deep labyrinth that is siddhartha's mind.
Chichi: Be at peace Govinda, you will see.
If you ask me, i think Govinda is being rather childish when it comes to Siddhartha's and his seperation. I mean, Govinda's a grown man for God sakes! He needs to choose his own path and believe in what he believes in, not what others have taught him to believe in. In my opinion there is no one greater or more wise than Siddhartha, not even the illustious one! Maybe in time Govinda will realize his mistake and come crawling back to Siddhartha and i, or maybe he wont. Either way i know i've made the right decision. I will stay with Siddhartha until the fated end.
I hope Govinda is always well.

This is Chichipilliwilldi, she is one of Siddhartha's loyal followers. She loves and believes deeply in Siddhartha, and wishes nothing more than to reach enlightenment alongside him. Also, Chichipilliwilldi is Govinda's younger sister. She is very dissapointed with her brothers decision to devote himself to The Buddha instead of following the right way which she strongly believes to be the path Siddhartha has set upon.
